The recent upcoming star, Wiz Khalifa, is a good artist.  His real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz. His whole body is already covered in tattoos, the artists says they are all meaningful.  He got his first tattoo when he was 16.  He was born in Minot, North Dakota.  Wiz is going to be 24 this September. He moved around a lot during his childhood before landing his feet in Pittsburg.  He lived in Germany, England, and Japan. Cameron’s stage name “Wiz Khalifa,” has a meaning. Wiz stands for “wisdom” and Khalifa is Arabic for “Successor.” Cameron’s music is from his inspiration of "Notorious B.I.G." and "Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony."  See full size image Khalifa started off his career after making his first full album, “Show and Prove,” in 2006. By 2007, Khalifa signed with Warner Bros. Records and also released two mixtapes with Rostrum Records. He has released three studio albums, the one listed above, “Deal or No Deal”, and his most recently released album ‘Rolling Papers.”  After a performance on November 9, 2010, ECU police detected "a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the tour bus and the backstage area of the auditorium." After searching Khalifa's tour bus, Cameron was arrested because of the authorities finding 2.1 ounces of marijuana. Khalifa was charged with marijuana trafficking, maintaining a vehicle for storage of marijuana, and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Khalifa was released after a $300,000 bond.  After all this trouble he got sucked into, the thriving artist was back on track with his 2010 Waken Baken Tour.
